Painting Process

Painting Process

Painting is an increasingly popular and increasingly used process in glassware. Much more beautiful and different colors are obtained with the developing technology and techniques. Its use is increasing in glass doors, shower cabinets, office partitions, kitchen counters and many other places. The costs in painting process vary according to the type and technique of paint used.

Although the color of the paint is the same, it may vary depending on whether the glass is flat or extraclear, the paint is sprayed on the tin or normal surface, the paint gun or printing line is used, the paint is zinc or bromide based. Therefore, the same paint color may differ in different manufacturers. Paints made with poor quality materials and techniques can be removed from the glass by chemical contact or impact from the glass surface.

The highest quality enamel paint is used in our company. Glasses that are tempered after spraying enamel paint can never be scratched or removed from the glass. Multiple coats of paint can be applied depending on where the glass will be used. Especially our customers who do not want light leakage should state this. Otherwise, a single coat of paint is applied and problems may occur. Particular attention should be paid to the presence of certain standards in exported products. Products that do not comply with these standards may not be accepted. The standards and issues to be considered in paints, lighting products and other products made in white goods are different.

We especially ask our customers who want to pass IK tests to indicate this to us. Zinc-based paints may leave weak areas in the tempering process, resulting in failure of IK tests. The base substance of the dye must be changed in these products.
